From the Editor
Hello readers, welcome to the first issue of Convivial! Our team has been working hard to bring you a great magazine full of entertainment, news and fun ideas. We want this magazine to be a fun and exciting place, where you can connect and interact with like-minded people from all over the globe. Our aim is for Convivial to be a worldwide community of people sharing their interests and discovering new passions.
If you love Sherlock Holmes, Pixar movies, superheroes or you're passionate about fair treatment for animals, we have great articles for you. We also have reviews on pop/punk albums to historical fiction and everything in between. We have three recipes for delicious snacks that are easy to whip up for a movie night. If you’re a bit of a daredevil then you’ll love our interview with an Australian stunt-woman, Georgie Blackwell. Check out the quiz if you’re a Christopher Nolan fan, or the advice column which helps you solve your knitting struggles, find a new comedy series to get involved in or how to start a journal.
At Convivial we love connecting with our readers. After every article there will be a space for you to leave your ideas and opinions about what you’ve read. If you want to know what’s going on with us we have a Facebook page. Here you can see all the latest news about upcoming issues of the magazine, and give us suggestions about what you’d like to see in Convivial. Or feel free to email us at: [email protected]
This magazine wouldn't exist without the hard work and dedication of a lot of people.
A big thanks goes out to our web technician Thai Rushbrook, our graphic designer Jordan Hynson, our marketer Eleanor Murray and of course, our sponsor Mr Childs.
If you’re stuck for things to do, if you want to pick up some hobbies that are slightly unusual or find out all the news regarding things you love, you’ve come to the right place. Please enjoy what we’ve put together, we’d love to hear what you think. Remember to always be nice to each other and respect other people’s opinions.
That’s all from me, happy reading!
